Technology Autobio Thesis

My experience with technology started at an early age. Before I was ten years old I had my own computer and played one or two computer games. I became obsessed and amazed at the way I could be transported to another world in a video game. The concept of a computer however was more confusing to me, but I was curious nonetheless.

  1. I agree with you about how intense the video game world can become. When I was young there wasn't any MMO's or large scoped video games to play. Kids now a days can literally get trapped into a online word of video games never really needed to come out. They can find all the necessities such as, relationships, games, jobs, friends, in video games instead of the real world.
What were a few of the games you grew up on?

  2. I love the focus here on gaming and on the power of the narrative seen in games. Can this be your focus? Does this have to do with what you will do as a career? Do you plan to be a video game enthusiast later in your life? I think the key to this assignment is to really keep your focus on gaming as a technology that has and will continue to shape your life.

  3. I remember my first computer and all the little kid games I used to play along side with my brother. We would never know exactly what to do or how to do it. I just remember wasting all my dads paper and ink in his printer, good days. I am just like you obsessed and amazed.

  4. I grew up on Sonic the Hedgehog and other simple, but super cool 90s games like that. I guess most of us that play games every now and then did.
